What Keynum Math Lab will never do

• Show ads or third-party trackers.
• Let your child chat freely with an AI or another person.
• Ask for your real name, school, or location.
• Push streaks, scarcity, or guilt to keep you in the app.
• Show scary, violent, sexual, political, religious, medical, or legal content.
• Send maths the lab hasn't checked first.

How hints work

Hints are written in advance and stored with the lab. When the optional AI feature is on, it can only rephrase existing hints — never invent new maths. Every response is checked for length, links, off-topic content, and personal-data questions before it ever reaches a child.

How the avatar works

Avatars are bundled SVGs. No uploads, no camera, no microphone. Eight friendly characters, all mathematical, all non-scary.
