For parents
What you should know
Keynum Math Lab is built with privacy by default and data minimisation principles in mind. Your child can use it without an account, without giving an email, and without providing a real name.
No ads. No third-party trackers. No public profiles.
No open-ended chat — the app cannot send free-form messages to your child.
By default, all progress is stored in this browser only. Nothing leaves the device.
The maths content is curated. AI is optional and constrained to rephrasing existing hints.
The child profile asks for a nickname (a codename is fine) and an avatar — no real name, school, address, or location.
Optional sync
You can opt in to back up progress across devices. Sync is parent-only, controlled by a magic-link sent to your email. Children never sign in.
